Roadrunner bird in Palm Springs

Characterful Roadrunner on a rock at Palm Canyon, Palm Springs, California, USA. With wildlife you typically have to shoot fast; I managed to fire off 4 or 5 shots before it made it's funny little 'honking/cooing' sound and flew off. Only had time to appreciate it's beautiful colourings and markings when I viewed the image back home.
